CTI FoodTech s.r.l. will collaborate with ProdAI to develop a pilot scale extraction line for bio-active compounds obtained from food processing waste, designing and manufacturing an extractor to be integrated with upstream plants (PEF, HPH, SWE) and downstream plants (membrane separation, drying and spray drying) already installed at partners ProdAI and ISVV. CTI FoodTech will also collaborate with ProdAI at a market research project involving a tightly connected food processing enterprise network.
The ValiCET project will involve CTI FoodTech as a Project Partner in the following Work Packages (WP) of the 9 the Project is composed of: WP2 – WP4 – WP6 – WP7 – WP8 – WP9. More specifically, within the WP2, innovative extraction technologies will be employed; the WP5 will include an environmental impact assessment of new processes and products; the WP6 will include an analysis of the consumer and food processing company interest for innovative products and processes.
