Students of University of Salerno Food Engineering PhD – class of professor Giovanna Ferrari – were guests yesterday at CTI FoodTech’s Salerno facility for the “Innovation and Patents” masterclass, dedicated to the role of the innovation manager in patenting of technological innovations for the food processing sector. Eng. Biagio and Alessandro Crescenzo held a class on innovation and patenting procedures implemented by CTI FoodTech, from the general legal frame to the strategic choices adopted for the company’s case history, with over 100 patents achieved and many others on the way. After the lesson the students were shown, in the production and prototyping departments, the patented machines already marketed and those about to be introduced on the market. “We wish to thank UNISA for choosing our case history as a successful example of technological innovation patenting” – Alessandro Crescenzo comments – “CTI FoodTech strongly believes in endorsing professionality as a development factor and this event confirms our partnership with institutions to work together for this purpose”.
