The slicer’s component parts include a stainless-steel valley-type fruit turnover, white sanitary fruit conveying belt, a series of stainless cutting knife and a discharge chute. Machine is powered by a V-Belt motor drive arrangement.
In operation, peeled, graded peach halves are delivered onto the valley type Turnover Shaker which discharges them, in cup-down position, onto a rapidly moving feed conveyor belt.
Centring spring blades guide the pieces of fruit in a single line to the revolving slicer knives that cut the halved fruit into segments.
Due to the arrangement of the knives, the segments number one more than the number knives employed.
Sanitary construction ensured with all contact parts manufactured on stainless steel. All moving parts readily accessible for cleaning.
Stainless steel knives with long beleved cutting edges.
Rugged construction ensures continuous service and long machine life with a minimum of upkeep expense.
