CTI FoodTech at SviPro Cup Award

Friday 3 July at University of Salerno, the event SviPro Cup took place. The SviPro Cup is an innovative product development competition between students in Mechanical and a Management Engineering at University of Salerno. At the end of the event, Confindustria Salerno awarded the best ideas developed by the student teams, on the grounds of challenges proposed by enterprises. CTI FoodTech is one of the associated enterprises taking part to the initiative, and the winning team of the “best pitch” prize presented a project based on a technology to feed an industrial strawberry processing machine.

Art installation Uomo Meccanico by Biagio Crescenzo on Telecolore

Salerno TV station Telecolore newscast featured a story today on the art installation Uomo Meccanico, made by CTI FoodTech upon design by CEO Biagio Crescenzo, at the press conference this morning at the Galleria Cerzosimo in the Centro Storico of Salerno, during which Biagio Crescenzo was interview by the station and spoke about the meaning of the artwork. The conference precedes the vernissage of the photo/video exhibit by photographer Armando Cerzosimo, which will be held Sunday 22 February at 18:30 at Sala Pier Paolo Pasolini.

Sunday 22 February at 18:30, at Sala Pier Paolo Pasolini in Salerno, the opening of a photo-video exhibit by photographer Armando Cerzosimo will be held, and it will be dedicated to the art installation “Uomo Meccanico”, created by CTI FoodTech from a concept by CEO Biagio Crescenzo.

The exhibit will be preceded by a press conference on Thursday February 19 at 10:30 AM, and followed by a talk on Thursday February 26 at 6:00 PM, both taking place at the Cerzosimo Gallery in the Salerno Centro Storico.

The artwork raises ethical and philosophical questions on the new relation between Man and technology and the exhibit retraces the stages of its creation and installation through a series of evocative photographs and videos.

Biagio Crescenzo with Fondazione Saccone at Quaderni Scientifici presentation

Friday 30 January, at Fondazione EBRIS in Salerno, the presentation of the VI Quaderno Scientifico by Fondazione Saccone, themed “Futuri”, was held. CTI FoodTech CEO Biagio Crescenzo joined as a member of Fondazione Saccone Technical-Scientific Committee and co-author of this new edition of Quaderni Scientifici.

“I wish to thank Fondazione Saccone for the CTS membership and for what it’s doing for the young on the territory, and I wish it could always go in this direction. I’ve launched a proposal in CTS in the sense of supporting the young on the territory.” – says Biagio Crescenzo, and continues – “as for the exhibit Futuri, it was very interesting to listen to all the speakers, especially the scientific divulgator Barbara Gallavotti, who quoted repeatedly a book by International Joint Conference on AI president Francesca Rossi on implications of AI in our life, which I’m reading too. I answered a question asked by the smartest moderator of Salerno, journalist Gabriele Bojano: to which character of the future you would like to ask a question now? I’ve answered I’d like to interview a poet or an author who will create a literary work inspired to our time, to discover what will be saved of our time in the future”.

For the exhibit Futuri, consisting in the presentation of an image capable of representing possible futures, Biagio Crescenzo presented a photo by photographer Armando Cerzosimo, portraying him during the preparation of the art installation Uomo Meccanico, designed by him and realized by CTI FoodTech.

CTI FoodTech is one of the 19 companies selected by ITA (Italian Trade Agency) for the Italian Pavilion at the Pack Expo Las Vegas 2025, which will take place in Las Vegas (USA) from September 29th to October 1st 2025.
In a customized booth, CTI FoodTech CEO and managers will welcome visitors from the USA and from all over the world, to promote the breakthrough technology installed on peach, apricot, apple, pear and avocado pitting machines produced by the company.

CTI FoodTech China customer hosts CANCON delegations visit

One of China’s most important processed peaches exporters – Heze Sanqing selling under the “Countree” brand – hosted a visit of CANCON delegations, including CTI FoodTech delegation export managers Francesco Ferrara and Carmen Bacco.
CTI FoodTech was especially welcome, because Countree products are made with processing lines that integrate our ZPF peach pitters.
The CANCON conference gathers every two years at international venues the world’s most prominent players of the fruit processing industry.

CTI FoodTech at Cancon 2025 Beijing

The biannual fruit processing world conference Cancon is being held this year in Beijing (China), at the China National Convention Center from 28 to 30 August 2025. CTI FoodTech was once again invited to represent the fruit pitting sector for the advanced technology integrated into its machinery.

Cancon brings together every two years at selected international venues the world’s leading players of the fruit processing industry, to discuss the state of the global market and explore strategic directions for the industrial sector.

In the photos, our conference delegation – sales executive Francesco Ferrara and export manager Carmen Bacco – pose for a shot with top executives from American, European and Asian fruit processing and foodtech companies.
